Perfect Facebook Image Sizes 2022

Still the world’s most popular network, Facebook has fast become more visual in character, as well as increasingly geared for mobile.

It’s still a ‘social’ social network at heart, so professional users are advised to avoid going too commercial or product-driven with imagery. Instead, aim to convey the human side of your brand – and, as with all the networks here, use the best resolution possible and shoot for the optimal Facebook post dimensions.

3 Tips for Posting on Facebook

  1. Personable Posts Facebook is a social network, so you should do exactly that with your following. Interaction and relatable content should be front and center for your Facebook strategy. The key to being personable is keeping your tone and visuals consistent with your brand, but targeting the content to your audience and service area. Post about nearby construction, upcoming events, or take a poll, but make sure your brand is still represented.

  2. Share User Generated Content Using user generated content for Instagram and not Facebook is an oversight in your social media strategy. 79 percent of people say user-generated content highly impacts their purchasing decisions. You can share content to your timeline, save it in a specific photo album, or post it to the community side of your page. If you’re lacking user generated content, make a contest out of it. Offer a prize for a photo of a recent purchase or experience.

  3. Consider Your Post Length With Facebook, less is more. Skip the long caption and consider uploading a video, creating an infographic or linking to another page/document. Ideally you want your caption around 40 characters, but it can be stretched to 80 characters if need be.
